Yahya Sharif Hadi, popularly known as Yahya Sharif and fondly called Buya by close friends, is a Nigerian model and aspiring content creator from Dala Local Government, Kano State. He was born on February 23, 1997.
Regarded as one of the youngest and most handsome models in Kano State, Yahaya began modeling at the age of 18. His passion for fashion started early — at just 12 years old — and he has since worked with several fashion designers, photographers, and beauty brands.
A graduate of Federal Government College, Kano, Yahaya’s educational journey took a pause when he was asked by his father to memorize the Holy Quran. After completing that, he returned to school and finished his secondary education.
Beyond modeling, Yahaya has a strong passion for content creation and aims to build a career that inspires and connects with people. He also dreams of traveling the world and gaining international recognition.
Despite the setbacks of COVID-19 in 2020, he remains focused on his goals. Over the years, he has received several awards including Best International Package by Arewa Kutashi, Most Handsome by Beautiful Nigerians, and Nigerian Legend by Gorgeous Nigerians
