Residents of Rano Local Government Area in Kano State trooped out in large numbers on Wednesday to welcome their council chairman, Hon. Naziru Rano, who returned to office after a short break.
Hours before his arrival, hundreds of men and women had already filled the venue, singing, chanting, and offering prayers for his safe return. Many community members said they came out in full force to show their support and appreciation for his leadership and commitment to the development of Rano.
In his remarks, Hon. Naziru Rano expressed deep gratitude to the people of Rano for the warm reception, assuring them that he would continue to work tirelessly to deliver meaningful projects and improve the lives of residents.
Some members of the community who spoke during the event said his return came at a critical time when close supervision was needed on several ongoing development initiatives in the area.
The gathering ended peacefully with prayers for progress, stability, and continued success for the entire Rano Local Government Area.
