The Kano State House of Assembly has summoned the Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) to appear before it following expressed dissatisfaction over the recruitment exercise conducted by the board.
While presenting a motion on the matter, Hon. Murtala Musa Kore, who represents Danbatta Local Government Area, raised concerns about the manner in which the recruitment process was carried out. He called for a thorough review to ensure fairness, transparency, and adherence to due process.
The House stated that it will listen to the submission of the SUBEB leadership before taking any further legislative action on the issue.
