NSCDC Redeploys Fagge Divisional Officer, Appoints New Officer to Take Charge

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kano State Command, has approved the redeployment of the Divisional Officer of Fagge Division, SC Amina Musa Kolawale, following a sad incident in which a suspect lost his life at the Fagge Divisional Office.
This decision follows the constitution of a Panel of Inquiry set up to conduct a discreet, transparent, and fair investigation into the incident. The State Commandant, Commandant Mohammed Hassan Agalama, approved the redeployment as part of measures to ensure an unhindered investigation and accountability.
Consequently, a new Divisional Officer, CSC Bashir Isa Abubakar, has been deployed to take over the affairs of the Fagge Division.
In addition, all officers and men who were on duty on Tuesday, 6th January 2026, including the Divisional Officer concerned, have been transferred to the Nigeria Police Force, Kano State Command, for further investigation and necessary action.
The NSCDC Kano State Command appeals to members of the public to remain calm and law-abiding, assuring them of its commitment to peaceful coexistence and justice.
The Corps further reiterates its unwavering respect for the sanctity of human life, human rights, and its resolve to uphold professionalism, standard operating procedures, integrity, and the rule of law in the discharge of its constitutional responsibilities.
