Apc Kano State Chapter Announces Replacement of Party Officials in Gabasawa Local Government

The Kano State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has approved the replacement of two executive officers of the party in Gabasawa Local Government Area as part of efforts to strengthen its leadership structure and enhance effective party administration at the grassroots level.

This was contained in an official notification issued by the Office of the APC State Chairman and signed by the State Secretary of the party, Dr. Yusuf Mohammed Sabo, dated 22nd June, 2026.

According to the statement, the party has approved the appointment of Mubarak Usman Garun Danga as the new Local Government Party Secretary for Gabasawa Local Government, while Abdullahi Saleh Jijitar has been appointed as the Local Government Party Assistant Welfare Secretary.

The appointments followed the directive of the party leadership to fill the positions and ensure the smooth running of party affairs within the local government area.

The APC State Secretariat stated that the replacements take immediate effect and directed all relevant party organs and officials to update their records accordingly and extend the necessary cooperation to the newly appointed officers in the discharge of their responsibilities.

The party expressed confidence in the ability, commitment, and experience of the appointees to contribute positively towards strengthening the party’s structure, promoting unity among members, and advancing the objectives of the APC in Gabasawa Local Government and Kano State at large.

Copies of the notification were also forwarded to the APC Vice Chairman of Kano North Senatorial Zone and the Chairman of Gabasawa Local Government Council for information and necessary action.
