Thousands of residents thronged Potiskum on Thursday to welcome prominent governorship aspirant, Kashim Musa Tumsah, in a show of enthusiasm and growing political support.
Eyewitness accounts said supporters from different parts of Yobe State converged on the town to receive the aspirant, with large numbers of youths, community groups and political supporters participating in the gathering.
The atmosphere in Potiskum was marked by excitement as chants and cheers filled major roads and public spaces during the reception.
