The Kano State Government has presented the official vehicle designated for the Committee for the Establishment of Gaya Polytechnic to its Chairman, Prof. Mukhtar Atiku Kurawa, to ease mobility and enhance the efficiency of the committee’s activities.
The presentation was led by the Deputy Governor of Kano State, who also serves as the Commissioner for Higher Education, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, at his office in the Government House.
During the handing-over ceremony, the Deputy Governor emphasized the importance of the committee in ensuring the successful take-off and development of Gaya Polytechnic with integrity and high standards. He noted that the priority Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf places on education is the reason behind this significant step, which reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening the educational sector and providing the committee with all necessary working tools.
He further commended Prof. Mukhtar Atiku Kurawa for his consistent contributions to the development of education across Kano State and the nation at large.
