The management of Qshelter Limited has convened investors, partners, agents and other stakeholders in Kano State to strengthen collaboration aimed at expanding access to affordable housing and addressing the state’s growing housing deficit through the Renewed Hope Citizens Estates initiative.
Speaking during a stakeholders’ engagement meeting in Kano, the Managing Director of Qshelter Limited, Alhaji Aminu Bindawa, said the forum was organized to showcase the company’s ongoing housing projects, attract new investments and foster strategic partnerships that would accelerate the delivery of affordable homes across Kano State and the wider Northern region.
According to him, Qshelter has successfully completed more than 395 housing units under the first phase of its housing development programme, providing decent and affordable homes to many families.
Bindawa disclosed that the company has already commenced the second phase of the project, which is expected to deliver over 700 additional housing units, further contributing to efforts to bridge the housing gap and improve living standards.
He emphasized the importance of collaboration among investors, developers, financial institutions and other stakeholders in achieving sustainable housing development, noting that affordable housing remains a critical component of economic growth and social stability.
The Renewed Hope Citizens Estates project is part of broader efforts to support the Federal Government’s housing agenda by providing quality and affordable homes for Nigerians while creating employment opportunities and stimulating economic activities within host communities.
Stakeholders at the meeting commended the initiative and expressed their readiness to support partnerships that would enhance housing delivery and expand homeownership opportunities for citizens.
