Kashim Musa Tumsah Says He Remains Firm in His Bid for Yobe Governorship

Kashim Musa Tumsah, an aspirant for the governorship seat of Yobe State, has declared that he remains fully committed to his ambition of leading the people of the state as governor.

Tumsah stated that his exclusion from the list of candidates reportedly endorsed by the state government would neither diminish his determination nor stop his political aspirations.

According to him, democracy provides for the conduct of party primaries, where party members and the general public have the opportunity to express their opinions and choose the candidate they believe is best suited to represent them.

He emphasized that he has strong confidence in the people of Yobe State, noting that they have the right to freely choose the leader they want without undue influence or pressure.

Tumsah also called on his supporters to remain steadfast, law-abiding, and patient as the party approaches its primary elections.

He added that his political struggle is not solely about attaining power, but is driven by a vision to bring development and improve the living standards of the people of Yobe State if given the opportunity.
